AWESOME HALL OF FAME
a SERIOUS old school blog with some rare 12" sides, now you wont see me do this much but WOW,
I had to re-post (with ALL credit due to Zartek from Awesome Hall of Fame)
LAZY LAZE - SMOOTH
Lazy Laze is well known & liked in the NY hip hop scene as the
guy who discovered Brooklyn bad boys M.O.P (and still manages them to this day)
Bumrush Records was a sister label to
Nat Robinson's First Priority Music (Atlantic) with Distribution through Virgin Records,
Artists on the label included Mc Peaches, Barsha, & Kings Of Swing
Just looking at he label, you got the feeling that this record had to be HOT!!,
with Nat Robinson as executive producer,
Lazy Laze & Greg Nice (of Nice & Smooth) on Production,
The Audio Two on the edits and re-mix &
BDP's D-Square on the mix
(mixed at the legendary Powerplay studios in NY)
Classic NY hip hop
